Cardiac investigations, reviewed by a specialist.
VR Diagnostics offers ECG, ECHO, TMT and Holter monitoring for a complete picture of heart health — from routine checks to pre-surgical cardiac clearance.
— What we test
From a quick ECG to a full stress test.
An ECG records your heart’s electrical activity in minutes. ECHO (echocardiogram) uses ultrasound to visualise the heart’s structure and function. TMT (treadmill test) checks how your heart responds under exercise stress, and a Holter monitor tracks your heart rhythm continuously over 24 hours.
Together, these tests give your doctor a complete picture — whether you’re due for a routine check, investigating symptoms, or need clearance before surgery.
- Quick ECG — results in minutes for routine and urgent checks.
- ECHO & TMT on-site — structural and stress-response heart assessment.
- 24-hour Holter — continuous rhythm monitoring for intermittent symptoms.
Commonly ordered for
- Routine & pre-surgical cardiac checks

— Questions patients ask
Cardiac Investigations — frequently asked questions.
Is a TMT (stress test) safe?
TMT is performed under supervision with continuous heart monitoring, and is generally safe for most patients cleared for exercise testing.
How long does an ECHO take?
A standard echocardiogram usually takes 20–30 minutes and is completely painless, using ultrasound similar to a pregnancy scan.
How does Holter monitoring work?
A small monitor is worn for 24 hours to continuously record your heart’s rhythm, then returned to our centre for analysis and reporting.
When will I get my results?
ECG results are available immediately; ECHO and TMT reports are typically ready the same day, and Holter reports after the 24-hour recording is analysed.
Need a cardiac work-up?
Call the clinic or share your doctor’s referral and we’ll arrange the right combination of tests.
