Neurophysiological studies for brain & nerve health.
VR Diagnostics offers EEG, NCV and EMG studies to assess brain activity, nerve conduction and muscle function — supporting diagnosis of seizures, neuropathy and neuromuscular conditions.
— What these studies measure
Reading the electrical activity of the brain & nerves.
EEG (electroencephalogram) records the brain’s electrical activity to help diagnose seizures and other neurological conditions. NCV (nerve conduction velocity) and EMG (electromyography) assess how well nerves and muscles are communicating — useful for diagnosing neuropathy, nerve compression and muscle disorders.
All studies are performed by trained technicians and reviewed by our specialists before your report is issued.
- Painless recording — EEG uses scalp electrodes, no needles involved.
- Detailed nerve mapping — NCV/EMG pinpoint where a nerve or muscle issue lies.
- Specialist-reviewed report — read before it reaches you.
Commonly ordered for
- Seizures & epilepsy work-up (EEG)
- Numbness, tingling or weakness (NCV)
- Suspected nerve compression, e.g. carpal tunnel
- Muscle weakness or disorders (EMG)
- Diabetic neuropathy assessment
